"The Door Opened…(then shut)"
Titlen "The Door Opened (then shut)" beskriver i høj grad mit eget forhold til denne musik for accordeon og blokfløjte.
Kendere a Alice Cooper vil samtidig kunne sende albummet Lace and whisky en kærlig tanke ved denne titel.

The title describes my own relationship to the commision and the sudden impulse to whrite for that - to put it mildly - challenging combination of instruments: recorder and accordeon! As I wrote the music it was like looking through a door into a strange world, where odd creatures appeared and acted funny. A door was open for a while, only to shut again.
Beside the title is a quotation from the cover of the Alice Cooper Album, "Lace and Whisky". SHN 2002
